HAMMERLOCKE CITY, GALAR The Galarian Government has issued an immediate evacuation for Hammerlocke in the wake of what many are calling The Darkest Day.

Not much has been uncovered by these recent events, but League officials believe this to be the work of a new Pokémon. An official press release revealed that this Pokémon has taken up refuge in Galar and is currently feeding on Dynergy deposits. Based on its current course, it appears to move across the region, nesting for several days, before moving to another League sanctioned Dynergy site.

While Dynergy is primarily used for ceremonial matches that involve Dynamaxing, Galar’s critical infrastructure also runs on this energy source. The previous attack on Motostoke has left many without power and other necessary utilities.

The first instance of this Pokémon was documented in Postwick where citizens claim to have heard a long winded howl before darkness spread over the small town.

Scientist believe that this Pokémon may be Necrozma, a Pokémon responsible for a recent attack on Hoenn’s Sootopolis City. Attempts to reach out to the oceanic region for assistance and confirmation are currently underway. However, proper assistance and communication is unlikely due to the invisible barrier that has enclosed their region.

This new development comes at a time where tensions between Hoenn's citizens, the incoming meteoroid, 99943 METENO, and Commissioner dahlia goode's government are intensifying.
